Some analysts remind us, "there's always a bull market somewhere". How can we find winners and losers?
First some winners on the scene, including infrastructure (heavy construction, oil and gas equip), gold, and dairy (that milk price non-inflation)
______________________________________________
Losers include the toy story, anything housing (construction, title insurance, building materials), and credit services.
______________________________________________
On the bubble are silver (turning up?), defense (consolidating?), and drugs.
______________________________________________
Resorts and Casinos broke out above a longish base and came back in, broke back out, and remain above the breakout.
________________________________________________________________________________
Are specialty eateries showing an INVERT cup and handle?
_______________________________________________________________________________
Cable TV (higher lows and indicator divergence) - position in selected group

Committed investors have to have both a big and a small picture view. How are the markets, sectors, and individual stocks faring? Is their institutional support (volume)? What are the relative strengths doing and where does a potential investment stand relative to key moving averages? Is there a potential catalyst (up or down)? What is the sentiment?

It's the hardest game in the world, played by some of the toughest competitors...but we can compete, but in the information age, we can acquire much of the data and the knowledge needed to hold our own.

Good trading and great risk management to all.

Educational use only. Never intended as investment advice.
